Daniel Good, MD

Ophthalmology Department

Dr. Good graduated 3rd in Texas Tech’s 1994 medical school class where he served as the school’s Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society chapter president his senior year.  He continued graduate medical training as an ophthalmology resident at Texas Tech.  Completing the residency program in 1997 as chief resident, he became certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  Beginning private practice in Los Angeles he excelled clinically and surgically.  Texas Tech subsequently asked him to join medical school faculty.  To augment his academic training, Dr. Good completed an Anterior Segment Surgery and Glaucoma fellowship at the University of Tennessee – Memphis.

Dr. Good returned to Lubbock in 2009 as attending faculty at Texas Tech providing patient care, teaching ophthalmology residents surgical skills, obtaining grants for glaucoma research and mentoring students.  He began volunteering for an annual medical mission trip staffing medical and nursing students on international medical mission trips in Central/South America which he continues to enjoy.  After serving on various local, national and federal healthcare committees, Daniel Good returned to his home state of Kentucky to focus on direct patient care.

Having successfully performed more than 10,000 surgical cases between Drs. Ansari & Good, the office offers patients a wealth of experience.  Combined with Drs. Bisotti & Muncy, Frankfort Eye Center is prepared to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
